About Holy Week & Easter
Holy Week at St. Paul’s
Holy Week is the most meaningful week of the Christian year. Together, we walk through the final days of Jesus’ life — from joy, to love, to grief, to hope.
Each service offers a different experience, and you are welcome at any or all of them.
Palm Sunday, March 29, 10:00am
We begin with celebration, remembering Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem with music, movement, and joy.
Tenebrae, A Service of Shadows, April 1, 6:00pm
Tenebrae is a powerful, candlelit service of shadows in which light gradually fades as we remember Jesus’ crucifixion, ending in darkness and silence as we sit with the weight of the cross.
Maundy Thursday, April 2, 6:00pm
A quiet, intimate service where we remember Jesus sharing a final meal with his friends and washing their feet as an act of love.
Good Friday, April 3, 6:00pm
A solemn and powerful service as we reflect on Jesus’ death and the reality of suffering in our world.
Holy Saturday
A day of stillness and waiting — holding space for grief, uncertainty, and hope not yet seen.
The Great Vigil of Easter, Holy Saturday at 8:00pm
This is the most beautiful and dramatic service of the year.
We begin in darkness and kindle new fire, telling the ancient stories of God’s love through scripture and song. As the light grows, we celebrate new life, renewal, and resurrection.
If you’ve never experienced this service, it is unlike anything else: moving, sacred, and full of meaning.
Easter Sunday
Easter is the celebration of resurrection of life rising out of death, hope breaking through despair, and love having the final word.
Join us for joyful worship filled with music, community, and celebration.
